Best Affordable Blogging Classes to Take Now

Are you thinking of starting a blog but aren’t quite sure how? Or did you already start your blog but are finding it difficult to increase traffic and monetize? If this is the case then blogging classes are the way to go. Yet, it is not always easy to find affordable blogging classes when you aren’t making any money. Let’s face it, most beginning bloggers do not have a budget for training or ads.

So if you are in the above blogging situation then this post will help you find some affordable blogging classes to amp up your blogging skills, especially if you are on a budget like me.

You could literally spend thousands a year on blogging books, classes, and conferences. But in actuality, there is no need to spend so much, when there are affordable options that still give the same information.

You don’t have to break the bank to start a blog or learn more about blogging.

If you are pondering starting a blog, then you will want to check out my step-by-step blogging guide here. But if you are already up and running you will need to learn as much as you can to survive and flourish in this blogging world. Why? You are up against millions of other bloggers and if you want to stand out, you will want to know your craft.

Also, it is easy to give up if you aren’t seeing the results you want. Blogging can become frustrating and you are left wondering why you started a blog in the first place. However, if you get the proper training you can avoid this scenario and streamline your blogging goals.

Save Time and Money on Affordable Blogging Classes

I have to admit, when I started my blog, I Heart Frugal, two years ago I didn’t have a lot of extra money to spend on classes. I thought I could find all the information I needed for free on Pinterest. However, there is SO much information on Pinterest. And unfortunately, not ALL bloggers know what they are talking about. Learn from my mistakes.

Therefore, It is best to listen to seasoned bloggers that have been where are but have figured out a way to build their blogs and make them into profitable businesses.

With that being said, there are many seasoned bloggers that also want to charge an arm and a leg to learn the valuable information you need. If you have the money to spend, then go ahead! But if you are on a blogging budget like me and are blogging because you need extra money and want to make blogging your main side hustle, then you probably want to keep your arm and leg and pay much less. Also, I do not believe in paying full price which is why I started a frugal living blog. So you know I am looking for those blogging class bargain gems.

The good news is there are bigger bloggers that take our situation into consideration and offer affordable classes. These classes will give you everything you need to get your blog up and running, learn social media, learn Pinterest, grow your email list, and grow your traffic. You will also start to see some money come in after you master your craft.

This post will help you find the help you need without spending more than $100 on your books or classes. These are all classes I have taken and can vouch for. They give you the most information for your hard-earned money and streamline the process so you don’t waste your precious time.

Affordable Blogging Classes:

1. Elna Cain – Ready Set Blog for Traffic This is on the top of my list. Why? Because it is totally affordable and worth WAY more than what she is asking for the course. Especially since Elna uses video format for many of the lessons. This class taught me how to design better pins. In fact, I now have a few viral pins and I am getting noticed more on Pinterest (almost at 25,000 followers whoop whoop – Follow me here 🙂.

Elna also walks you through getting your blog set up, how to blog for traffic, SEO strategies, Pinterest growth, increasing your income, and bonuses including over 380+ Group Boards.

One thing I love about Elna’s class is how she teaches. She talks slowly and is easy to follow. She has a calm demeanor and a friendly, positive attitude and she is very down to earth. Not to mention, she also does free Facebook Lives in her Facebook group and will promptly answer any of your questions.

I have also emailed her a few times and she always responds. She is a very busy person but takes time for her students and readers. This is the type of person I want to use as a blogging role model. She isn’t just out for profit but genuinely wants to help people learn. I can’t say enough good things about this class!

2. Suzie Whitford Blog by Number

Blog by number is a comprehensive blogging course that offers a ton of value for the price. If you are a beginner or intermediate blogger, this course is for you. Learn how to start a blog, add legal pages, create a homepage, and much, much more. If you are looking to learn Pinterest, there are 16 video lessons that teach you how to start your account and design pins, plus how to use Pinterest to get more eyeballs on your posts.

This course is a MUST have for new bloggers. I even used it to start a new blog, even though I have been blogging for four years. I needed some refreshers and still learned many new things going through the course.

3. Lena Gott – Blog Traffic Boot Camp – Another blogger that I love is Lean Gott. Lena is an amazing blogger and person. She is genuine and helpful. Her advice on blogging is priceless. She also offers several free pieces of training on top of her classes. I have only taken Blog Traffic Boot Camp, which was a great way to kickstart my blogging traffic, but I am interested in her new SEO class and her e-book which explains how she grew her traffic from 17,000 to over 400,000 per month. That is AMAZING!

Any tips or advice Lena has to offer, I am ready to listen. She is a blogger that knows her stuff and again, she is willing to help the smaller bloggers because she remembers what it was like when she was only getting 17,000 page views, but working so hard. I highly recommend Blog Traffic Boot Camp and again, for the price, this information is worth WAY more!

I suggest taking the above-mentioned classes and when you start making some money, invest in some of the pricier classes or blogging conferences. In this way, you can use your profits to put money back into your business.

Don’t forget you can get all of you blogging needs for under $100 now if you buy the Genius Bloggers Toolkit. This Toolkit is jam-packed with blogging resources on social media, starting a blog,  Facebook ads, marketing, traffic and more.

Also, Carly’s new marketing class is part of the bundle this year and is worth the money of the entire bundle. To be honest, I got the three classes above in the 2017 Genius Blogger’s Toolkit.

The cost of the Toolkit is less than the three classes above, but they are not listed in the 2018 Toolkit. In fact, you only have from Oct. 10-15 to buy this year’s kit and then it is gone. If you want to learn from the pro’s like Carly  Campbell (her marketing class is part of the bundle), Lena Gott (yes, her Pinterest keyword tracking part of the bundle), Caroline Vencil, Ruth Soukup, Allison Lindstrom, Saira Pearl, Suzi Whitford, Sarah Titus, Crystal Paine, and many more than this is the BEST bargain for your money. Affordable Blogging Classes Conclusion:

One thing you have to think about in any business and in life is how are you going to grow and continue to learn? If you stop learning, you will limit yourself. I always try to take classes from other bloggers and business people who have credibility and are walking the walk. The above classes are worth the money in my opinion especially since you gain lifetime access to updates.

Sure, you could spend the next year searching the Internet for free information or you could streamline the process and invest in your future. Why wait months or years to make money blogging when you can learn how to do it now? What have you got to lose?
